DSC_3028.jpg

A controlled application of a chemical solution (often containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), or Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)) to the skin. This solution removes the damaged outer layers of skin, stimulating cellular turnover and regeneration of new, healthier skin.

What They Treat

Acne, acne scars, sun damage (photodamage), age spots, hyperpigmentation (melasma), fine lines, and dullness.

Key Service Types

Light (Lunchtime), Medium, and Deep peels. The level determines the downtime and the depth of skin penetration. PCA Skin products are often used for a personalised, progressive approach.

Results & Duration

Results are visible after the skin finishes peeling (which can take a few days to a week, depending on the peel strength). A course of 3-6 treatments is typically recommended for optimal long-term results.

Patient Experience

A clean, tingling, or warm sensation is felt during application. Post-treatment involves redness, tightness, and visible peeling or flaking for several days. Strict sun protection is mandatory afterwards.
