Choosing new technology for the clinic is a process I take very seriously. With so many devices available on the market today, it is easy to get caught up in hype. However, my standard for adding any new modality to Aaron Bishop Aesthetics is strict: it must be clinically proven, safe across appropriate skin types, and designed to support the skin’s natural repair mechanisms without causing unnecessary trauma or extensive downtime.

That is why I am delighted to introduce LaserME to our clinic offerings.

LaserME is an advanced fractional non-ablative laser specifically designed to address texture, fine lines, sun damage, and general skin laxity. It allows us to deliver deep skin rejuvenation while keeping your recovery simple and manageable.

How LaserME Works: The Science of Fractional Non-Ablative Laser

To understand why LaserME is such a valuable addition to our treatment plans, it's helpful to see how it interacts with the skin.

Traditional ablative lasers remove the top layer of skin (the epidermis). While effective, this approach requires significant recovery time, involves noticeable redness and peeling, and requires careful post-treatment management.

LaserME takes a non-ablative, fractional approach:

  • Non-Ablative: It keeps the skin's surface layer completely intact. Instead of stripping away the surface, light energy passes through the top layer to heat the deeper dermal layers.

  • Fractional Energy: Rather than treating 100% of the skin in a single sweep, the laser creates microscopic columns of thermal treatment surrounded by untreated skin.

Because the surrounding skin remains untouched, the body’s natural healing response is

triggered rapidly. This process stimulates fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing

collagen and elastin, encouraging fresh structural support from within while minimising

outward healing time.

What Can LaserME Treat?

LaserME is a versatile treatment that can be tailored to address a variety of common skin

concerns, particularly as our skin adapts to seasonal changes and natural ageing.

  1. Uneven Texture and Fine Lines: By stimulating new collagen production, the skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer, and more resilient over the weeks following treatment.

  2. Sun Damage and Pigmentation: Over time, sun exposure can lead to stubborn sun spots, uneven skin tone, and a dull complexion. The laser energy helps break down localised pigment so your body can naturally clear it away.

  3. Acne Scarring and Structural Repair: Targeted micro-injuries encourage dermal remodelling, helping soften the appearance of shallow acne scars and textural irregularities.

  4. General Skin Quality & Glow: Even for skin without specific concerns, the boost in cell turnover and collagen production helps restore a healthy, natural radiance.

What to Expect During and After Treatment

I know the word laser can sometimes sound intimidating if you haven't used one before. My goal is always to make sure you feel completely comfortable and informed throughout the process.

During the Session: A session is relatively quick. You may feel a warm, prickling

sensation as the handpiece moves over the skin, but it is generally well-tolerated.

Immediate Recovery: Right after treatment, your skin may look slightly flushed, similar

to a mild sunburn, and feel warm for a few hours.

Minimal Downtime: Because the outer skin layer isn't compromised, most clients can return to their normal daily routine almost immediately, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Is LaserME Right for You?

Every skin type is unique, and no single treatment is a magic wand for everyone. During a

consultation, we take the time to look closely at your skin, discuss your daily routine, and evaluate whether LaserME is the most suitable option for your specific goals, or if a combination approach would serve you better.

If you’re interested in exploring what non-ablative laser treatment could do for your skin, feel free to reach out to the clinic or drop me a message. I’m always happy to guide you through the details.
